Why I use Heads Up Decoys: "Heads Up Decoys are lightweight, portable, and have very diverse functionality. Due to these facts, it is a no-brainer to always carry one with me when I head afield."
Matt is a lifelong resident of Kansas. He grew up in central Kansas and has been an avid upland bird and waterfowl hunter from a young age. Matt started bowhunting in 1998 after being exposed to the sport by several close friends. Since that firest season, Matt has exclusively archery hunted big game having great success on Whitetail Deer, Antelope, Mule Deer, and Turkey.
Matt works as a District Conservationist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service. Matt resides in northwest Kansas with his wife Jerri, who has picked up the sport of bowhunting as well. Archery for Matt and Jerri is a year-round obsession.
Matt serves as the NW Representative for the Kansas Bowhunter's Association. He prides himself on being an ethical hunter and being an active member in conservations organizations, including the KBA and the Pope and Young Club.
Matt successes in the field have led him to pursue, and accomplish his goal of being published in several outdoor publications including Bowhunter, Bow & Arrow Hunting, and Eastmans' Bowhunting Journal.
Matt has been a Heads Up Decoy Prostaffer since 2010.
