Donnie grew up in Nevada hunting big elk and mule deer near Ely. Donnie moved to Idaho where he enjoys a career as an engineer.
Donnie has taken many animals over the years with his bow. His accomplishments and proficiencies have enable Donnie to introduce many first time hunters into the sport. It is not unusual for many to wrap a tag around their first animal while hunting with Donnie.
Donnie is actively involved in Elk101.com and Extreme Elk Magazine traveling the western states with close friends Corey Jacobsen and Dirk Durham promoting not only Elk101.com and Extreme Elk Magazine, but also Heads Up Decoys.
Donnie has been a Heads Up Decoy prostaffer and supporter since 2010.
